$1 Billion Settlement for Defective Stryker Hip Implants

Medical device manufacturer Stryker has agreed to a sizable settlement to provide compensation for individuals who received a Stryker Rejuvenate or Stryker ABG II Hip stem implant. According to Market Watch, the company will be spending $1 billion to resolve claims from patients who had a Stryker hip implant implanted before November 3, 2014, at a U.S. hospital or qualifying military hospital.
